WELCOME, I’M ALLISON
If you’re feeling scared or unsure, you’re not alone.
I support women and families who are living with daily food and body struggles. I know how isolating this can feel, whether you’re struggling, or watching a loved one suffer.
Together, we move slowly and thoughtfully, building understanding, trust, and steadiness. Healing doesn’t come from force. It comes from feeling supported and safe enough to begin.
You’re allowed to take this one step at a time.
How can WE HELP
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or for someone you love, you may be feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. This work begins by creating a sense of safety in the midst of uncertainty. Together, we focus on understanding what’s really going on beneath the struggle with food and body image. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin.
Just a willingness to receive compassionate, steady support, and to take one step at a time.

You Could Work With Many People.
Why Work With Me?
Here are a few things that I think differentiate me from others:
25 years in higher education
I understand the academic, social, and developmental pressures young adults face. I have supported students, families, and campus systems for decades, and I understand the environment surrounding your recovery.
PhD coach utilizing research-based, trauma-informed approaches
My work is grounded in both scholarship and lived experience. I integrate research, trauma awareness, and nervous system understanding so our work goes deeper than behavior change alone.
Holistic, transformative recovery including purpose, spirituality, & community
Recovery is not just about food. It is about rebuilding your relationship with your body, reconnecting to meaning, and remembering who you are beneath the disorder.
I focus on what’s underneath the behaviors.
Food and body struggles don’t exist in isolation. We look at control, safety, identity, and coping, not just symptoms.
I understand the protective role of eating disorders.
I understand eating disorders develop for a reason. I do not minimize their role, and I approach recovery with the depth and respect it deserves.
I respect your intelligence and agency.
I don’t position myself above you or tell you who to be. This is collaborative work, grounded in honesty, trust, and shared understanding.

The Awakening: free guide
Do I Have an Eating Disorder?
If you have ever wondered whether your relationship with food is something more, this guide was created for you. The Awakening gently helps you recognize patterns, understand the difference between disordered eating and an eating disorder, and consider your next steps with clarity and care. It is not a diagnosis. It is a compassionate place to begin.
A Gentle Path Back to Trust With Food and Your Body
There comes a moment when you start to wonder if the way you think about food, your body, or eating is asking for care. Not because you’ve failed or done something wrong, but because something inside you is tired of carrying this alone.
I’m Allison, an eating disorder recovery coach, and I support women who feel stuck in the quiet space between “I’m fine” and “I can’t keep living like this.” You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a safe place to begin.
